In accounting, retained earnings are the profits a company keeps and reinvests in itself instead of paying them out. Retained Yearnings asks the same of you: keep more of what you earn, waste less on what doesn't matter, and pour the difference into what you actually yearn for.

Not frugality for its own sake, but spending deliberately so you can invest in the things that compound: your skills, your health, your relationships, your time. The personal equity no one can repossess. Part journal, part toolkit, entirely honest about the math.
